The Lodge is conveniently located in the middle of the Tayrona region, so if you are also interested in different adventures, there is plenty to do.
We are 10 mins away from the world famous Tayrona Park.
Hike through the tall trees of this seaside natural reserve as you discover bays such as Arrecifes and Cabo San Juan with beautiful blue waters and white sand beaches sprinkled with their characteristic boulders.
Enjoy some down time with a good book. The area attracts visitors from far and wide so take the chance to meet new people from all walks of life.
Have a great conversation as you take a long walk on a serene beach.
Walk up along the crystal clear shallow waters of rivers flowing down from the Sierra Nevada. Immerse yourself in the tropical vegetation along the river banks.
From the lodge you can visit the Quebradas de Valencia—stunning stepped waterfalls rising a couple hundred meters.
Pueblito and Ciudad Perdida
The region of the Sierra Nevada is the ancestral home of the Tayrona people and their descendants the Kogi. They still live in the area so you might meet them along the way. If you have the time you can hike up the mountain to one of their towns, Pueblito.
A trek of a few days will take you to the Tayrona lost city, Ciudad Perdida. We can help you organise a tour with local providers if you are interested. The lodge is the perfect base to gather your energies before the long walk or to rest on your way back.
