From Santa Marta
We can help coordinate a taxi transfer from Santa Marta to the Lodge. The transfer costs COP $180,000 each way and is paid directly to the driver.

An alternative option is taking a bus from the ‘Terminal de Transporte’ (central bus station) going to the ‘Parque Tayrona’ (Tayrona National Park) which costs approximately COP $20,000 per person. It is important to let the bus driver know you are going towards ‘Costeno Beach’ on Km 38 + 300 meters on the Santa Marta – Riohacha highway. The bus will stop at the entrance of the Tayrona National Park. Stay on the bus for another 6-7 mins until the entrance to ‘Costeno Beach’. From there walk for 7 mins towards the beach, then take a right and walk the main path parallel to the forest for another 12-13 mins to the Lodge entrance. Note it is also possible to take a motorcycle taxi from the bus stop to the Lodge entrance for COP $4,000.
From Cartagena
We can help coordinate a taxi transfer from Cartagena to the Lodge. The transfer costs COP $900,000 each way and is paid directly to the driver.

From Cartagena the best option is take a ‘Marsol’ bus which has a direct route towards the Tayrona National Park. A one-way ticket costs COP $67,000 per person and takes about 4 hours. Buses depart every day at 6:00am and 10:00am. It is important to let the bus driver know you are going towards ‘Costeno Beach’ on Km 38 + 300 meters on the Santa Marta – Riohacha highway.
